This week we release all FINAL websites to each of you on the pre-launch team and you will all have your Big Ticket Depot affiliate back offices so you can track your sales/commissions and many other things!


This week you will see WHY it took a bit longer than we expected to make this happen. We made some enhancements during this time and with every change comes more time and expense with programming. I have been experimenting with 3 tools that are email marketing based over the past month.

I am one week away from completing this test with this software and am piecing it together. It is NOT THAT technical however it would be something people would have to have some one on one training over the phone on or even in person HOWEVER once you KNOW how to use it, you will find a THOUSAND ways to use it to build Max Life, Big Ticket Depot and ANY other program you build.

I ran a 2 day test sending out some emails to TARGETED emails I had gotten from this program...The result?

No matter what business in you're in, you can put the Internet to use for you and use it to help you build your business and rake in more sales.

The statistics on how many people are online now are mind-blowing. As of November of last year, there are over One Billion people online. This gives all of us an incredible opportunity to grow our businesses – to global proportions, if that's what we want.

However, the Internet is not without pitfalls and obstacles. In fact, if you make the wrong move, you can find yourself in very real danger of losing everything you've worked so hard to build.
Here are some things to keep in mind when it comes to using the Internet to market your business:

Create a professional-looking Web presence. These days with all the readily available
Website templates, blogs and highly affordable Website designers who can be hired to design a custom Website, there just isn't any excuse for amateurish or poorly built Websites these days.
Even when you add the cost of Internet access, hosting, buying the right domain name and the cost of having a Website built, starting an online business is affordable to almost anyone – and so even if you run your business from your home, it doesn't have to look that way!

Make sure that you've done your research. Find a hungry market that is already buying in your chosen niche. Choose a product that your target market wants to buy – the best way to do this is to choose a product or service that meets a need, takes away a pain or solves a problem. Competition is good – but make sure you choose something where you've got a good chance of getting close to the top.

Write a business plan. Even if your business is completely online, a business plan is your roadmap that helps guide you from where you are right now to where you want to end up. Business plans aren't just for people who are looking for venture capital or business loans. Include your plans for marketing and selling on the Internet in your plan. Be flexible and willing to adjust those plans as needed.

Start with the end in mind. Do you know where you want to end up? What are you going into business for? To make a little extra money? Have an action plan. Once you know your long-term plan for your business, it's easier to chunk it down and create shorter, medium and long term goals that will help you to achieve them.
Write down your plan for marketing on the Internet and make sure that you take at least one or two actions towards those goals every single day,Surround yourself with positive, supportive people who will hold you accountable when you need it, give you encouragement and keep you on your toes and stretching beyond where you think you can go.

What Is BIG TICKET DEPOT ?


I have just become part of something big that you need to know about.

As you know I have tried a lot of things both online and offline and some have worked out and some have not.

I am not and never will claim to be a PERFECT judge of opportunities but....


In a NUTSHELL you and I can make money helping rich people sell their stuff online...Some of the people are people who WERE rich and are liquidating but read on..

This is intriguing. It definitely caught MY attention!


I have a real strong gut feeling about a project that an internet marketing mentor of mine (Joel) has started. It is called "Big Ticket Depot".

I have looked into it and read part of his business plan and it is something I can finally see myself doing online to make money. What I like about it is it is a CLIENT DRIVEN program. We are not out "recruiting" people but rather offering MILLIONS of people ( I will prove it) a way to convert their boats, cars, jewelery and other luxury NON essentials into cash.

People are hurting right now (even people with a lot of assets) and they are trying to find ways to sell off the things they bought when times were good. All you have to do is go to Craigs List or Ebay and their are millions of people struggling to sell this stuff. The other thing that makes what I am going to show you a winner is this...MOST banks are TIGHT right now on lending people money on these things because of the following reasons:


1. Most people have poor credit (even rich people)


AND


2. Most banks are not lending ENOUGH on these items so people are simply trying to LIQUIDATE (or sell) these things.


It is a total mess out there but I believe we offer a solution...

Sort of like offering cold water on a hot day.


This is where we step in. My Internet marketing friend (yes he is a friend) and mentor has created a program where you and I can help these people and make money doing it. It is wonderful and I cannot thank him enough for allowing me to be part of a "test group" that he started called the "100 Team."

At the end of July the programming will be completed and this project is going to take off. He is giving us generous referral commissions and bonuses and giving us several sites we will be able to use in promoting this to both potential clients and potential affiliates.


This program is a win/win and I see no downside to it. The entry is minor and when you find 3 affiliates to participate (and this is easier than other programs) you pay nothing each month to maintain your sites etc. Your literally in business for free with all the benefits.


I do not want to pressure you and do not need to because I have several people looking at this right now but I felt you needed to at least KNOW what I am doing here. Is Your Blog Building Your List?

Using your blogs to build an email list is very powerful strategy.
But are you using your blog to it's full potential?

The first thing I noticed when I opened up the first video was the
stunning production quality. He used Camtasia Studio for the production, which is now the industry standard for creating high-quality screen capture video products.


The audio is near studio quality, and the graphics are very professional.

These videos were made by someone who KNOWS what he's doing. Well done!


I also liked how Michael divided the videos up by section, and then again by sub-section. For example, one video is all about the subject line, and then there are different parts of that video that each cover a certain area of crafting a killer subject line.

Here's a brief summary of each video. Obviously it's impossible to list every single thing here but I want you to get a feel for what each one covered, and how well it covered it.

VIDEO 1 - INTRODUCTION

This video served as an introduction to the whole course. You get to see a picture of Michael in his every day life, and he establishes his credibility right up front by talking about some of his massive successes online. He even provides proof of credibility by displaying two checks in the amount of $50,000 and $25,000 which prove that, when it comes to the subject of making money with email promos, he knows his stuff.



This is a good lesson for anyone to get. Whenever you're teaching people how to do something, it's good to establish your credibility up front, so that there's no doubt about whether or not you're qualified to talk about the subject. Most product developers either skip or minimize this step.




VIDEO 2 - BEFORE YOU WRITE THE PROMO



This video talks about some things that no other marketer has bothered to mention.


You'll learn things like:

* How to create an outline that practically writes the email for you.



This was a fantastic video, and did a good job of kicking things off.

I liked this video, because it talked about one of MY biggest weaknesses when it comes to writing email promos... the subject line. The subject line is a confusing topic, because nobody's 100% sure what the best tactics are.

I was surprised to find that I was making some of the mistakes that Michael mentioned in this video, but now I know better

He also reveals:

VIDEO 5 - THE BODY COPY



This is one of the "meatiest" portions of the course, because it reveals techniques that are not widely discussed on the forums, blogs, and in most eBooks.

He talks about the importance of keeping your body copy tight and relevant, and then reveals how you can do that. You'll also learn:



* How to write powerful bullets that make people curious and want to find out more.



* Simple formatting tricks for making your body copy easy to read.



* The secret of "bucket brigade copy" and how to use it in your email promos to force people to keep reading.




VIDEO 6 - THE CALL TO ACTION



This is where a lot of people wimp out in their email promos. They start out strong, but when it comes time to ask the reader to click the link and take action, they don't know what to say.

I loved this video, because it showed me some mistakes that I was making that I wasn't even aware of. Unless you're a seasoned pro, you're probably guilty of some of the things that Michael talks about in this video as well, and that's why it's so valuable. I've shaved years off my learning curve, because now I can avoid some of the costly mistakes that I was bound to make in the learning process.




VIDEO 9 - HOW TO CREATE FOLLOW-UP EMAIL PROMOTIONS



This video alone is going to make me a lot of money. Why? Because I used to only send out one email promo for each affiliate promotion I was doing. Michael showed me in this video how important it is to send a follow-up promotion, and he showed me exactly how to do it. He covered things like:



* The psychology of follow-up email promo's.



* The 2 main types of follow-up promos that make the most money.



* How to overcome readers' objections in your follow up emails.



* The 2 most common mistakes people make when writing follow-ups and how to avoid them.

1. Barter

If you have a business you should be bartering goods and services with other businesses. You should try to trade for something before you buy it. Barter dealsusually require little or no money.



2. Network

Try networking your business with other businesses.You could trade leads or mailing lists. This will cut down on your marketing and advertising costs. You may also try bartering goods and services with them.



3. Wholesale/Bulk

You'll save money buying your business supplies in bulk quantities. You could get a membership at a wholesale warehouse or buy them through a mail order wholesaler. Buy the supplies you are always running out of.



4. Free Stuff

You should try visiting the thousands of freebie sites on the internet before buying your business supplies.You can find free software, graphics, backgrounds, online business services etc.




5. Borrow/Rent

Have you ever purchased business equipment youonly needed for a small period of time? You could have just borrowed the equipment from someone else or rented the equipment from a "rent-all" store.




6. Online/Offline Auctions

You can find lower prices on business supplies and equipment at online and offline auctions. I'm not saying all the time, but before you go pay retail for these items try bidding on them first.




7. Plan Ahead

Make a list of business supplies or equipment you'll need in the future. Keep an eye out for stores that have big sales. Purchase the supplies when they go on sale before you need them.




8. Used Stuff

If your business equipment and supplies don't need to be new, buy them used. You can find used items at yard and garage sales, used stores, used stuff for sale message boards and newsgroups etc.

You should always try negotiate a lower price forany business equipment or supplies. It doesn't hurt to try. Pretend you are talking to a salesman at a carlot.

Promoting Your Site in Forums

In todays posting, I'm going to give you some advice on how to promote your article in forums.


Forums are a great way to promote your business and indulge your "social" nature at the same time. Look for forums that are popular with your customers, and then become an active participant in them.


Not only will you boost your reputation as an industry expert, you'll also get some great inbound links pointing back to your site.


To find your customers' favorite forum hangouts, simply type your top keyword phrases into a search engine, along with the word, "forum."

Just be aware that there's a RIGHT way to promote your business in public forums... and a WRONG way.
(Remember... forums are places where people gather to chat and exchange FREE information -- they're not interested in being sold to!)


Here are 7 tips to help make sure you get the message out about your business, without annoying or offending anyone:


Forum Tip #1:


Lurk before you leap! Before you start wading into a forum with your opinions and advice, hang out as a silent "lurker" for a while and get to know the "flavor" of posts that are considered acceptable.


Every forum is different, so what might be considered humorous in one could be offensive in another.
Learn who the "regulars" are, what questions are typically asked, and what responses are given.
Then do your best to follow the accepted model.



Forum Tip #2:



Focus on "relationship selling" -- NOT product selling Forum promotions are all about selling YOURSELF as an industry expert, with a wealth of knowledge to share -- they're NOT about selling your actual product!
In a forum, gimmicky sales tactics and hype do NOT work.


Unless you want to enrage the other participants, don't post blatant "buy my product" advertisements. Instead, look for opportunities to respond to questions with the exact information the people asking the questions are looking for.


The trick is to sit back, listen, and wait for legitimate opportunities to share your expertise. This will help you gain the community's respect and develop a solid relationship with your target market.

Attach a "sig file" to all your postsAn electronic signature -- also referred to as a "sig file" -- is a three- to six-line footer that you can attach to the bottom of your forum postings.


You absolutely MUST make sure your sig file contains your name and site URL as well as a link to an informative article or newsletter subscription article!
