"Email Promos Exposed" Video Series: How to Write Killer Email Promos That Get Results!

Have you ever been faced with the task of having

to write an email promotion to your list, and

then realized that you didn't know what to say or how to say it?

Michael Rasmussen's new video course "Email Promos Exposed"

promises to solve that problem for you by walking you through

the actual process of creating killer email promos step-by-step.

If you're in a hurry, Click here to get instant free access to these videos:

I decided to see if Michael's videos live up to their promise by trying them out myself.

Here's what I found:

******OverallQuality*******

The first thing I noticed when I opened up the first video was the
stunning production quality. He used Camtasia Studio for the production, which is now the industry standard for creating high-quality screen capture video products.

The audio is near studio quality, and the graphics are very professional.

These videos were made by someone who KNOWS what he's doing. Well done!

I also liked how Michael divided the videos up by section, and then again by sub-section. For example, one video is all about the subject line, and then there are different parts of that video that each cover a certain area of crafting a killer subject line.

Now let's move onto...

****THE ACTUAL VIDEOS****

Here's a brief summary of each video. Obviously it's impossible to list every single thing here but I want you to get a feel for what each one covered, and how well it covered it.

If you're in a hurry, Click here to get instant free access to these videos:

VIDEO 1 - INTRODUCTION

This video served as an introduction to the whole course. You get to see a picture of Michael in his every day life, and he establishes his credibility right up front by talking about some of his massive successes online. He even provides proof of credibility by displaying two checks in the amount of $50,000 and $25,000 which prove that, when it comes to the subject of making money with email promos, he knows his stuff.

This is a good lesson for anyone to get. Whenever you're teaching people how to do something, it's good to establish your credibility up front, so that there's no doubt about whether or not you're qualified to talk about the subject. Most product developers either skip or minimize this step.

VIDEO 2 - BEFORE YOU WRITE THE PROMO

This video talks about some things that no other marketer has bothered to mention.

You'll learn things like:

* The mindset you need in order to write a killer promo

* The different tools you need before you get started

* How to keep your emails laser-focused

* How to create an outline that practically writes the email for you.

This was a fantastic video, and did a good job of kicking things off.

VIDEO 3 - THE SUBJECT LINE

I liked this video, because it talked about one of MY biggest weaknesses when it comes to writing email promos... the subject line. The subject line is a confusing topic, because nobody's 100% sure what the best tactics are.

Michael breaks it down, and reveals:

* The biggest secret for writing a subject line that makes people insanely curious.

* Techniques for personalizing the subject line.

* Mistakes to avoid when using personalization.

I was surprised to find that I was making some of the mistakes that Michael mentioned in this video, but now I know better

VIDEO 4 - THE OPENING

This is where a lot of people slack off when writing their emails. Michael talks about how important it is to create an opening that is conversational, and then reveals techniques and examples on how to do that.

He also reveals:

* How to get people to keep reading your email once they've opened it.

* How to make your opening interesting.

* Mistakes to avoid when creating your first few paragraphs.

VIDEO 5 - THE BODY COPY

This is one of the "meatiest" portions of the course, because it reveals techniques that are not widely discussed on the forums, blogs, and in most eBooks.

He talks about the importance of keeping your body copy tight and relevant, and then reveals how you can do that. You'll also learn:

* How to write powerful bullets that make people curious and want to find out more.

* Simple formatting tricks for making your body copy easy to read.

* The secret of "bucket brigade copy" and how to use it in your email promos to force people to keep reading.

VIDEO 6 - THE CALL TO ACTION

This is where a lot of people wimp out in their email promos. They start out strong, but when it comes time to ask the reader to click the link and take action, they don't know what to say.

Michael talks about some of his favorite techniques for making that happen, and also reveals:

* The "magic question" to ask yourself that will make your close much more powerful.

* The secret of the "unanswered question" and why handling this is a surefire way to get people to act right away.

* The structure of a powerful close.

* Mistakes people make when creating their close.

VIDEO 7 - CREATING AN EFFECTIVE P.S.

Some people say that the P.S. is one of the most important parts of the email, because it is often the one thing that gets people to click the link at the end. In this video, Michael talks about:

* Why you should including a P.S. at the end of your email.

* The 4 different kinds of P.S.'s you can use (this section was a real eye-opener for me).

VIDEO 8 - COMMON MISTAKES PEOPLE MAKE

I loved this video, because it showed me some mistakes that I was making that I wasn't even aware of. Unless you're a seasoned pro, you're probably guilty of some of the things that Michael talks about in this video as well, and that's why it's so valuable. I've shaved years off my learning curve, because now I can avoid some of the costly mistakes that I was bound to make in the learning process.

VIDEO 9 - HOW TO CREATE FOLLOW-UP EMAIL PROMOTIONS

This video alone is going to make me a lot of money. Why? Because I used to only send out one email promo for each affiliate promotion I was doing. Michael showed me in this video how important it is to send a follow-up promotion, and he showed me exactly how to do it. He covered things like:

* The psychology of follow-up email promo's.

* The 2 main types of follow-up promos that make the most money.

* How to overcome readers' objections in your follow up emails.

* The 2 most common mistakes people make when writing follow-ups and how to avoid them.

VIDEO 10 - HOW TO WRITE BACK END EMAIL PROMOTIONS

Every marketing guru out there says that the REAL money is on the back end. I'd have to agree with them, but the problem is... most people have no idea how to set up a back end system that makes money. This video will teach you how to set up an automated back end that's loaded with killer promos that make you lots of cash on autopilot. He reveals things like:

* The big difference between regular and back end email promos.

* How to prepare a back end promotion sequence.

* Common mistakes people make when creating back end email promos.

VIDEO 11 - CREATING AFFILIATE EMAIL PROMOTIONS

This could be the most important video of the entire package for a lot of people, because most people email their list to promote other people's products as an affiliate. Let's face it, if you only have 3 products, can you really afford to only email your list 3 times a year?

They'll get bored hearing about the same old products over and over again. This video sheds some light on how to create killer affiliate promos. Michael reveals things like:

* The two main types of affiliate promos.

* What makes affiliate promos different than regular promos

(and why ignoring this huge secret could cost you big money).

* Michael's favorite tactics for creating affiliate promos that no one else is doing.

* 3 different ways to add scarcity to your affiliate promos

(this is the most important section of the video, so make sure you watch it over and over again).

****CONCLUSION****

As you can see, Email Promos Exposed really packs a lot of punch!

Most of the courses out there offer only watered down, weak content.

Not this one! These videos are going on my "A-list" for a long time.

I've already watched them twice, and plan on reviewing them every couple months to make sure that I have the principals, techniques and tactics burned into my mind.

If email marketing is an important part of your business (and in my opinion, it's the most important part of ANY online business), then you owe it to yourself to check out Michael's exciting new videos, Email Promos Exposed.

Top 10 Ways To Reduce Your Business Costs

1. Barter

If you have a business you should be bartering goods and services with other businesses. You should try to trade for something before you buy it. Barter dealsusually require little or no money.

2. Network

Try networking your business with other businesses. You could trade leads or mailing lists. This will cut down on your marketing and advertising costs. You may also try bartering goods and services with them.

3. Wholesale/Bulk

You'll save money buying your business supplies in bulk quantities. You could get a membership at a wholesale warehouse or buy them through a mail order wholesaler. Buy the supplies you are always running out of.

4. Free Stuff

You should try visiting the thousands of freebie sites on the internet before buying your business supplies. You can find free software, graphics, backgrounds, online business services etc.

6. Online/Offline Auctions

You can find lower prices on business supplies and equipment at online and offline auctions. I'm not saying all the time, but before you go pay retail for these items try bidding on them first.

7. Plan Ahead

Make a list of business supplies or equipment you'll need in the future. Keep an eye out for stores that have big sales. Purchase the supplies when they go on sale before you need them.

8. Used Stuff

9. Negotiate

You should always try negotiate a lower price forany business equipment or supplies. It doesn't hurt to try. Pretend you are talking to a salesman at a carlot.

10. Search

You can always be searching for new suppliers for your business supplies and equipment. Look for suppliers with lower prices and better quality. Don'tjust be satisfied with a few.

Promoting Your Site in Forums

In todays posting, I'm going to give you some advice on how to promote your article in forums.

Forums are a great way to promote your business and indulge your "social" nature at the same time. Look for forums that are popular with your customers, and then become an active participant in them.

Not only will you boost your reputation as an industry expert, you'll also get some great inbound links pointing back to your site.

To find your customers' favorite forum hangouts, simply type your top keyword phrases into a search engine, along with the word, "forum."

Just be aware that there's a RIGHT way to promote your business in public forums... and a WRONG way.
(Remember... forums are places where people gather to chat and exchange FREE information -- they're not interested in being sold to!)

Here are 7 tips to help make sure you get the message out about your business, without annoying or offending anyone:

Forum Tip #1:

Lurk before you leap! Before you start wading into a forum with your opinions and advice, hang out as a silent "lurker" for a while and get to know the "flavor" of posts that are considered acceptable.

Every forum is different, so what might be considered humorous in one could be offensive in another.
Learn who the "regulars" are, what questions are typically asked, and what responses are given.
Then do your best to follow the accepted model.

Forum Tip #2:

Focus on "relationship selling" -- NOT product selling Forum promotions are all about selling YOURSELF as an industry expert, with a wealth of knowledge to share -- they're NOT about selling your actual product!
In a forum, gimmicky sales tactics and hype do NOT work.

Unless you want to enrage the other participants, don't post blatant "buy my product" advertisements. Instead, look for opportunities to respond to questions with the exact information the people asking the questions are looking for.

The trick is to sit back, listen, and wait for legitimate opportunities to share your expertise. This will help you gain the community's respect and develop a solid relationship with your target market.

Forum Tip #3:

Attach a "sig file" to all your postsAn electronic signature -- also referred to as a "sig file" -- is a three- to six-line footer that you can attach to the bottom of your forum postings.

You absolutely MUST make sure your sig file contains your name and site URL as well as a link to an informative article or newsletter subscription article!
For example, your sig file might look something like this:

All the best,
Dick Donlevy.

Not only does this provide a relevant inbound link pointing to your site for every post you publish on the forum, it also encourages other forum participants to check out your site and see what it has to offer.

Forum Tip #4:

Score brownie points by doing the footwork for others If someone asks you a question and you don't know the answer, admit it -- then tell the person you're going to do some research to find the answer, and will get back to them once you do.

It's a great way to prove you're willing to "go the extra mile" for your customers. (Just make sure you follow through on your promise!)

Forum Tip #5:

Encourage visits by announcing site updates Once you're a regular forum participant, invite other participants to visit your site whenever you add something interesting or new to it (such as a new article or a holiday edition of your service).

Just post a short note about the changes you've made then invite them to check out your website themselves.

Forum Tip #6:

Post informative articles that link to your site Article posting is one of our favorite forum promotion strategies -- and it's one for the fastest ways to get instant sales from forums.

The trick is to write an article that's full of valuable information your target market is going to be excited to get their hands on. Then, at the end of your article, include a short biography that plugs your product!

Here's an example...

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Richard Donlevy specializes in teaching real people how to start profitable Internet businesses that make $1,000 to $2,000,000 (or more!) per year.
To get instant access to all the most profitable marketing campaigns, strategies, tools, and resources that he's used to generate almost $1 million in online sales, visit: http://www.iwant2makemoney.biz/ ...

If the other forum participants like the information you provide in your article, you can bet they'll click on the link in your "bio" to see what your site has to offer!

Forum Tip #7:

Focus on forums that DON'T accept advertising.
There are two types of forums: ones that accept advertising and ones that don't.

Stick to posting in forums that DON'T accept advertising, because this is where you'll get the best response.(Why? Because there won't be as much competition!)

If you follow these 7 tips, and always remember to be a polite and helpful participant, you'll find that forums are a great place to generate more leads for your business. ...
Plus, you'll have the chance to "hang out" online with people who share your interests -- your future customers!

Are You Using The Four Letter Word?

The most powerful word in the marketing dictionary is made up of just four letters: F-R-E-E.

It doesn't matter what kind of product or service you're promoting, if you can use the word FREE in your advertising and marketing, then your response rates will shoot up.

People like FREE stuff. In fact, many people simply can't resist the word FREE!

The problem is, you can't use the word FREE unless you actually have something FREE to give, for example:

Your Ad Here

These are all effective ways of introducing the magic word. However, the best FREE idea of all is the FREE ebook. It doesn't matter what kind of product or service you sell, you can use FREE ebooks as a promotional tool to carry your advertising AND build your reputation. By creating an ebook that is related to your product or service, and by giving that ebook away for FREE, you achieve three things in one go:

  • You give yourself a legitimate reason to use the word FREE in your advertising and promotion.

  • You generate FREE publicity for yourself by promoting your product or service from inside your FREE ebook,

  • You build your credibility by making your book useful and relevant to your target market.

To get the most out of this great FREE promotional tool, keep these points in mind:

The ebook must be more than just a blatant ad for your product or service. This could damage your reputation rather than enhance it. Keep your self-promotion present without being 'in your face'.

The content of your book must be useful and relevant to your target market. There's no point in giving away a FREE ebook that contains Internet marketing articles written by other people, if you're promoting guitar lessons. You'd be much better off doing a bit of research online and creating a short ebook on the history of guitar playing. After all, the primary aim of the FREE ebook is to build your reputation in the eyes of potential customers.

Encourage other webmasters/e-zine publishers to freely distribute your book to their visitors/readers. Be sure to state this clearly inside the book and anywhere you make the book available for download.

Offer to create customized versions of the ebook for those webmasters who want it. For example, you could place an ad for the webmaster's site on the cover page. This will encourage him/her to work harder at giving it away, thus spreading your message to more people.

Promote your FREE ebook by listing it on shareware sites and in ebook directories as well as on your own website and e-zine. So, get busy. Ask yourself what it is that your target market is interested in.

Make a book that feeds that interest and then start giving it away!

10 Benefits Of Submitting Articles To E-zines

1. You'll brand your web site, business and yourself by submitting articles to e-zines. You could include your name, business name, your credentials, web site address and e-mail address in your resource box.

2. You will become known as an expert on the topics you write about. This will give you and your business extra credibility which will help you compete against your competition.

3. Your article might also be placed on the publisher's home page. If they publish each issue on their home page this will give you some extra exposure.

4. You might get extra exposure if the e-zine publisher archives their e-zine on their site. People might want to read the back issues before they make the decision to subscribe.

5. You will get free advertising. This will allow you to spend your profits on other forms of advertising. You could buy advertisements in other e-zines that don't publish your articles.

6. You might get extra income from people wanting to hire you to write other articles, books, or even ask to speak at seminars. This is a great way to multiply your income.

7. You could allow e-zine publishers to publish your articles in their free e-books. Since people give them away, your advertising could multiply all over the internet.

8. You will get your article published all over the web when you submit it to an e-zine publisher that has a free content directory on their web site. They'll allow their visitors to republish your article.

9. You'll gain people's trust. If they read your article and like it, they won't be as hesitant to buy your product or service. You will then be able to increase your profits.

10. You could get your article guaranteed to run in an e-zine. You could agree to run one of their articles in your e-zine if, in exchange, they run yours in their e-zine. It's a win/win situation.

10 Killer Ways To Multiply Your Sales

1. When you make your first sale, follow-up with the customer. You could follow-up with a "thank you" email and include an advertisement for other products you sell. You could follow-up every few months.

2. You could upsell to your customers. When they're at your order page, tell them about a few extra related products you have for sale. They could just add it to their original order.

3. Tell your customers if they refer four customers to your web site, they will receive a full rebate of their purchase price. This will turn one sale into three sales.

4. When you sell a product, give your customers the option of joining an affiliate program so they can make commissions selling your product. This will multiply the sale you just made.

5. Sell the reprint/reproduction rights to your products. You could include an ad on or with the product for other products you sell. You could make sales for the reproduction rights and sales on the back end product.

6. You could cross promote your product with other businesses' products in a package deal. You can include an ad or flyer for other products you sell and have other businesses selling for you.

7. When you ship out or deliver your product, include a coupon for other related products you sell in the package. This will attract them to buy more products from you.

8. Send your customers a catalog of add-on products for the original product they purchased. This could be upgrades, special services, attachments, etc. If they enjoy your product they will buy the extra add-ons.

9. Sell gift certificates for your products. You'll make sales from the purchase of the gift certificate, when the recipient cashes it in. They could also buy other items from your web site.

10. Send your customers free products with their product package. The freebies should have your ad printed on them. It could be bumper stickers, ball caps, t-shirts etc. This will allow other people to see your ad and order.

3 Tools For Affiliate Marketing

What does it take to become a successful Affiliate Marketer?

What are the ingredients of an affiliate marketing success story?

Is there a shortcut to Affiliate Marketing glory?

All these questions play around in the minds of affiliate marketers who want to make it big in this business. Although affiliate marketing is touted as one of the easiest and most effective ways to earn money online, it is not as easy as it sounds. The wise affiliate marketer plans every action and executes it the best way he can.

He should also maximize the potential to earn by utilizing the right tools necessary for a successful Affiliate Marketing business. We have consulted some of the most successful affiliate marketers in the business and below are the top three necessary tools for a successful affiliate marketing business.

Important Tool #1:

The most important and indispensable tool in Affiliate Marketing is your own website. The first step in any successful affiliate marketing business is building a good, credible and professional looking website. Your website is the jump off point of all your marketing efforts. Thus, you must first build a user-friendly website, which will appeal to your prospects and encourage them to click on the links to the products and service you are promoting and make a purchase.

Therefore, you must first concentrate your efforts in building a website that will cater to what your prospects need. The most important thing you should consider is that almost all web users go online to look for information, not necessarily to go and buy something. Above all else, make your website full of original, relevant and useful content. People will love articles that are appealing and helpful.

Keep in mind that, in the internet, content is still king and good quality content will not only build your credibility, it can also help you achieve a higher search engine ranking.By posting relevant and useful articles, you establish yourself as a credible expert in the field, making you a more trustworthy endorser of the product or service you promote. Establishing a good reputation is a good step in building up a loyal consumer base.

Important Tool 2

You must always be one-step ahead of your rivals to ensure that you capture a significant share of your target market. Therefore, you must use every possible means to encourage people not only to visit your site but also to click and proceed to the websites of the products and services you are promoting. Building an opt-in email list is one of the best ways to gather prospects. Offer a newsletter or an e-zine.Better yet, offer incentives to your prospects to encourage them to subscribe to your newsletters. You can present free softwares, access to exclusive services and other freebies that will be helpful to your prospects.

Important Tool #3:

The importance of driving highly targeted traffic to your website cannot be emphasized enough. The all-important web traffic is at the top of the list of the most important entities in the internet world. Attracting people to your site should be the first step you should carry out. Do everything to achieve a high search engine ranking. Link Popularity is one of the factors that search engines use to determine search engine rankings.

Therefore, to enhance your link popularity, you must launch an aggressive reciprocal link campaign. One of the best ways to do this – at no cost at all – is by submitting articles, with your website's link at the resource box, to e-zines and free article sites. You will not only gain exposure, you will also have the opportunity to advertise for free, just include a link back to your site.

The more sites you submit your articles to, the better your link popularity is. Make your articles original, relevant and useful so that more websites will pick it up and post it.These are but three of the many tools that an affiliate marketer can use to maximize earning potential.

The possibilities are endless and are limited only by your imagination, creativity, resourcefulness and determination. You can always explore other ideas and adapt other strategies, which you think might help you become a high rolling affiliate marketer.

How To Use Time Sensitive Offers To Turbo Charge Your Sales

Copyright 2007 ResellRightsBlowout.com

My friend had not had a bath in over three days, there where pizza boxes littered across his apartment, and a funky odor filled the room.

As I walked into his apartment, I quickly became disorientated and started to feel myself losing consciousness. I felt my eyes starting to roll back into my head, and staggered to the window to get a breath of fresh air.

"John," I mumbled to my usually hygienic friend, "what happened to you?" He then gave me a wry smile and his eyes became as large as Bill Gate's bank account. My friend led me over to the TV where he had on "The Home Shopping Network". John needed to take some time off work to relax, but within three short days, had become a 'Home Shopping junkie'.

My normal, levelheaded friend, had become hypnotized by one of marketing's most powerful techniques: Time sensitive offers. If he didn't order "Peppi the singing fish" within the next 15 minutes, the offer would be gone forever. The Yoda phone that exclaimed, "May the force be with you" when it rang would disappear into a galaxy far far away if he didn't act now. They only had 100 left in stock!

As I sat there watching my zombified friend order useless items he would never use, I decided I needed to apply this same technique to my own business. I care deeply about all of my customers, so I wanted to make sure of two things: - My offers would only be for useful products and services. - The offers had to truly be time sensitive. The results where astounding. The first time sensitive offer I brought to my customers almost tripled my sales. I was immediately hooked.

Now I almost never make an offer unless it is time sensitive. For my offers I use a customized script that keeps track of my orders or counts down the time left until the offer expires. When my product is sold out, or the offer has expired, the script then removes the order page. I rarely make exceptions and extend the offer, unless someone had a problem ordering the product. So how can you implement this strategy into your business? To have a successful offer you should generally follow these two simple rules: - Make the offer truly special (give a discount, extra bonuses, etc.) - Make sure the offer is pulled when you say it will be.

I have tested 72, 48 and even 24-hour offers with impressive results. These kinds of offers usually pull much better than if I limit the offer to 20-30 packages. However, each list is different. So don't be afraid to test various offers until you find the right formula for maximum sales. The kiss of death, and quickest way to lose credibility with your customers, is to make an offer that insults their intelligence. Don't make a 48-hour offer, then run it for a week, just to make extra sales.

Your customers will quickly catch on to this, and you will see your response rates fall drastically. Treat your customers with respect, and they will return the favor by making your bank account balloon to new levels. Looking for quality resale rights products?
